Cookies and the consent record
This page explains what cookies are, what this site stores, and how that relates to annual financial checkup enquiries. It was last revised on 20 September 2026. The wider privacy notice is on the privacy page.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can recognise a choice or a session. Similar storage, including localStorage, stays on your device as well. This practice uses localStorage for one choice, described below. We do not run an advertising network.
Essential and analytics
Essential storage is what the site needs in order to remember a choice you already made. Analytics cookies would measure how people move through pages. This site does not set an analytics cookie. Rejecting the banner leaves every page, including the appointment form, available. Accepting the banner does not switch on a tracker, because none is installed. The banner exists so the choice is explicit and so a later analytics cookie, if one were ever added, would stay off unless you had accepted.

Third-party requests
The only third party the pages call for presentation is Google Fonts. We do not embed advertising, payment frames, or social trackers. If you block fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, the pages still read in the browser's own serif fonts. The appointment form still works.
How to manage or disable storage
Use the banner's Reject button to record a refusal, or Accept to record permission. You can also clear cookies and site data for keen-passagefield.click in your browser settings. In Chrome, that control sits under Privacy and security, then Cookies and other site data, then See all site data. In Firefox, it sits under Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data. In Safari, it sits under Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data. Clearing the data for this site removes the consent key, and the banner will show again on the next visit.
You can block third-party cookies in the same settings. Blocking them does not remove the localStorage key, which is first-party storage. You can block the font request with a browser extension or by disabling remote fonts. The pages remain usable.
Impact of rejecting or disabling
Rejecting the banner does not block the financial planning pages, the fee schedule, or the form you use to request a checkup. There is no analytics cookie to lose. If you block the font files, the layout uses fallback serif type and the words stay readable. If you clear storage, we simply ask the consent question again. The office does not receive a copy of your Accept or Reject press.
